Our 15th Annual Christmas Wish Fundraiser starts in just a few weeks, and we need local businesses to sponsor our event!
Are you a local business owner in the Fox Valley Area that has a desire to help local families in need? The Chocolate Shoppe's 2026 "Christmas Wish" fundraiser will help local families purchase gifts for their children, provide food for the holiday table, put gas in their vehicles, and help pay those difficult bills that always seem to pile up right when the holidays hit.
How it works...we accept nominations from people within our community that believe a family is in need, and we review these need-based issues to choose who we think may be in the most need of assistance. These families have faced significant adversity such as a job loss, the death of a spouse/parent, the loss of their home due to a fire or natural disaster, a major medical issue with a child or parent, or other hardship that makes things financially difficult for them during the holiday season. Donations are raised through business sponsorships, community donations, and raffles held by The Chocolate Shoppe throughout the holiday season. The family (families) that are chosen are gifted these funds anonymously to protect their identity and give them a sense of privacy as they face these difficult times.
Businesses that are able to contribute $100 are mentioned in our monthly newsletter in November and December, and are thanked in multiple social media posts throughout the holiday season. You will also receive a link on our website for one year!
Businesses that are able to contribute $250 will receive the aforementioned, as well as a personally created advertisement about your business that will be posted twice in all of our social media community groups which reach over 45,000 local residents, and our newsletter which reaches over 2,500 local subscribers in a targeted advertisement. Ad results will be shared with each business sponsor.
