How It Works

The Chocolate Shoppe specializes in creating chocolates that are available for sale online or through our local marketplaces. Our award-winning chocolates are created in our dedicated gluten-free facility in Plano, IL, and offered through local delivery or nationwide shipping. We also offer a large variety of other allergy-friendly confections which include dairy free, egg free, peanut free, tree nut free and vegan options made with premium Belgian chocolate.

Our products can also be found at shops and marketplaces throughout the USA (visit the LOCATIONS page for details).

Place your order online by 5 PM (central time) on Saturday (see ordering schedule below). We take orders throughout the entire week until Saturday afternoon, and then prepare everything fresh on Mondays. Orders ship on Tuesday (or Monday during a holiday week). Deliveries are made on Fridays to portions of DeKalb, Kane, Kendall and Lasalle counties in Illinois; a delivery notification reminder will be sent on Thursday night. Pickup may be available in our Plano, IL location at designated times (see schedule below). Please call us at (630) 465-5755 if you need your order sooner and we will try to accommodate your request!

CURRENT ORDERING SCHEDULE

Orders placed between now and 3 PM on Saturday, March 7, 2026 will be available at the following times:

SHIPPING - Orders will begin shipping on Tuesday, March 10, 2026.

Delivery is currently unavailable.

PICKUP - Orders will be available for pickup March 10-14, 2026 from 10 AM to 6 PM at our Plano location. We cannot offer refunds for orders that are not picked up. Please wait for the email notification that says your order is ready for pickup.

SHIPPING - if you select shipping for your order, it will ship by Tuesday for arrival to your designated address between Wednesday and Friday via UPS. If shipping to multiple addresses, please place a separate order for each address.

PICKUP - pickup is available at our PLANO location ONLY, and is only available on the date(s) listed above. REFUNDS WILL NOT BE GIVEN FOR ORDERS THAT ARE NOT PICKED UP.

DELIVERY is currently unavailable.

LARGE ORDER POLICY - Orders over $200 for same day pickup are considered custom production orders and are NON-REFUNDABLE once preparation has begun. Third-party pickups (Uber, DoorDash, etc.) are accepted at the customer's risk and may require order verification.
